Well, Gary is still Gary.

PHEW! For a second there I was worried when Gary started loosing his ominous shadow, but then all things went back to normal. XD

So yeah, Gary either took pity on Joy and helped her out before "trashing" her, or he's just too afraid of shipping and burnt that bridge before it was even built... or the exact opposite and this is his way of "pulling a girl's hair". :P

Seems like he "trashed" her out of frustration that she is pretty much ignoring his advice and is going to hurt herself doing so. He could either be pissed that his effort was wasted or that she's going to hurt herself, the latter implying that he *does* in some way care about her. Interesting regardless.

Side note, I love that he starts to look more like a normal person to Joy throughout the conversation.

The other alternative is that Joy asked Gary to do this to jumpstart her memories, in which case this release reads quite differently.

I guess it was a bit much to expect him to be nice, even if he is more reasonable than I expected. He's not above taking cheap shots at her after dispensing advice.

I was expecting a kiss. I was expecting to go Awwwww! Instead I half coughed half laughed trying to ingest milk. Great.

question: Is there a shadow behind joy?... I meant literally by the way. We already know the answer to the figurative.
